Upgrade the appearance of Honda Civic

The owner of the new generation Honda Civic upgraded its appearance to a sportier one at a cost of nearly 90 million VND.

The Type R is a high-performance version of the Honda Civic sedan. The car starts at $34,000 in the US and is not officially distributed in Vietnam.

The new generation Honda Civic has upgraded its appearance according to the high-performance Type R version in Ho Chi Minh City.

The modified version uses an imported bodykit, changing the front design with a new front bumper. The fog lamp cavity has additional vertical bars, a new hood with raised ribs, and muscular air intakes.

Mr. Bach, the owner of a garage in District 9, where the modification was made, said that the Civic sold in Vietnam since early 2017 has a sporty design. "The owner simply wanted a stronger sporty look, so he decided to upgrade this car model," Mr. Bach added. The cost of the modification was about 90 million VND, done in a week.

The modified Honda Civic uses 19-inch, 5-spoke wheels that are quite similar to the "genuine" Type R version. The rear of the car has a slightly changed rear bumper design. Four new exhaust pipes are installed symmetrically.

The owner of the modified version did not interfere with the transmission system or the interior of the original Honda Civic. The car is equipped with a 1.5 liter engine.g capacity of 170 horsepower at 5,500 rpm, maximum torque, combined with CVT gearbox. Civic selling price in Vietnam is 898 million VND.
