NATO prepares secret plan in case of clash with Russia

According to him, the upcoming NATO Summit in Vilnius will be required to approve "a secret military plan thousands of pages long", which for the first time since the Cold War describes in detail the scenario of direct confrontation with Russia.
As the journalist notes, the permanent military representatives at the headquarters of the North Atlantic Alliance in Brussels and other officials of the bloc prepared this document in secret without any preliminary research on the part of lawmakers and independent experts.
"As NATO increases its influence on the international stage after the outbreak of the conflict in Ukraine, the lack of transparency in the bloc's work that characterizes the alliance's long-term military planning process is creating serious problems for democratic oversight," Davis said.
To argue, the journalist also quoted the Chairman of the NATO Military Committee, Admiral Rob Bauer, who said on May 10 that the countries in the alliance should be ready for a possible conflict at any time.
Russia has repeatedly noted that the North Atlantic Alliance is aimed at confrontation and expressed concern about the alliance’s buildup in Europe. As Russian Presidential Press Secretary Dmitry Peskov stressed, further expansion of the bloc will not bring greater security to the region. Meanwhile, Russia remains open to dialogue, but will not ignore actions that could endanger its interests./.
