“NATO will fail against Russia in taking over the entire Baltic region”
Poor infrastructure and bureaucracy could mean that the US military would not be able to stop Russia in time if it invaded the Baltic states and Poland, NATO military experts have concluded.

A military exercise conducted by the US European Command shows that the initial stages of the war will be lost due to infrastructure problems, the Washington Post reported.
Even the front-line units could not quickly advance to Poland’s eastern border because the roads were too narrow and the bridges were unstable. The rear-line units had to travel hundreds of kilometers to reach the battlefield. During this period, according to the US military’s calculations, the Russians had enough time to occupy the entire Baltic region.
Problems already arise when troops move from country to country for exercises, according to Adam Lacki, commander of one of the US military units. For example, heavy US military equipment after participating in exercises in Georgia had to spend four months returning by rail to its permanent deployment base in Germany.
