(Baonghean) - Along with the Kinh ethnic group, Nghe An has 5 ethnic minorities living together, including: Thai, Tho (including the Dan Lai and Tay Poong groups), Mong, Kho Mu and O Du.

The ethnic groups have more or less differences in living conditions, residence and production. However, in the process of cohabitation, exchanges, relationships and mutual influences on cultural and social conditions are inevitable. In general, the 5 ethnic minorities residing in Western Nghe An still retain many of their own identities, especially women's clothing.

In the program of the 2nd Art Performance - Cultural Exchange of Ethnic Minorities of Nghe An Province in Quy Hop recently, there was a very special performance of ethnic costumes. This performance helped the audience have a preliminary picture of the living conditions and the process of responding to the natural environment as well as the social environment of the ethnic minorities of Nghe An.
