In addition to the flag-raising ceremony rituals, the units have added important contents, such as: evaluating the results of activities after a week of work and orienting the key tasks of the following week; implementing activities of associations and unions; wishing happy birthdays to those whose birthdays are during the week. Those who are irresponsible in their work and have not completed their tasks will also be reminded to self-correct.

At the Anh Son District Police Department, where young officers and soldiers make up a large number, the flag-saluting activity is even more meaningful. Because everyone understands that the image of the red flag with a yellow star is a sacred symbol of the Fatherland. Standing under the flag, each person will see more clearly the responsibility of the People's Police "Forgetting oneself for the country, serving the people". At the same time, through that, educating officers and soldiers about awareness, working style, awareness of complying with the discipline of the agency and unit, contributing to innovation, promoting the emulation movement, compliance with regulations, and cultural life in the unit. Captain Nguyen Hai Trieu, Head of the General Staff, Synthesis, and Logistics Team said: "Participating in the flag-saluting, we are more aware of going to work on time and strictly implementing the working style. In particular, everyone is self-conscious and dedicated to their work, because no one wants to be reminded in front of the flag". Colonel Manh Hung, Head of the District Police, said: Since the campaigns were launched, the unit has had a clear change, helping to synchronize all training and emulation movements, doing a good job of monitoring, evaluating, drawing experience and streamlining administrative procedures. The spirit and responsibility of leaders and key cadres have been significantly improved. In addition, thanks to being constantly reminded of the spirit, attitude and style in working, living and interacting with the masses, the brothers in the unit have all raised their awareness of "Serving the people".

Salute the flag on Monday morning is one of the “immediate tasks” proposed by the Anh Son District Party Committee since the Resolution of the 4th Central Committee (11th tenure) and it is also one of the criteria for building offices into cultural units. After 3 years of implementation, the most obvious thing that everyone can see is the meaning, which is to educate each person about national pride and is a cultural beauty. Comrade Thai Doan Huu, Standing Deputy Secretary of Anh Son District Party Committee, said: “Salute the flag at the beginning of the week has contributed to changing the awareness, attitude and working consciousness of the district’s cadres and employees. When issuing the flag salute policy, the district required all cadres in the district and commune agencies to go to work on time, fully present, and properly dressed. This is also the day when the unit leaders directly deploy work and resolve existing problems. Things that can be resolved will be done immediately, and the work will be carried out effectively and quickly. More importantly, thanks to the serious implementation of the flag salute ceremony at the beginning of the week, it has affected the working consciousness of cadres on all other days of the week. The situation of “rubber” hours, breaks, etc. has also gradually been overcome.”

In parallel with the above activities, since 2011, the district has also issued Directive 12 on the strict prohibition of drinking alcohol during working hours. Initially, this directive also encountered some opposition, but after many years of implementation, up to now, cadres and party members in the district have clearly recognized the harmful effects of alcohol on health and work efficiency. Therefore, when Directive 17-CT.TU of the Provincial Party Committee on "Strengthening discipline and administrative order in agencies and units in the province" was issued, Anh Son implemented it seriously and effectively. The situation of drinking alcohol during the working day is limited; working hours and working style are ensured... Visiting many agencies of Anh Son district, you can see Uncle Ho's picture hanging solemnly in offices, agencies, offices, and schools. In addition, the regulation on “Ethical and lifestyle standards on “Studying and following the moral example of Ho Chi Minh” has been implemented simultaneously in all units. The standards are built with the motto of being concise, comprehensive, easy to remember, easy to implement, closely related to the characteristics of the agency, unit, organization, suitable for the requirements and tasks of each industry and each field, so it has helped cadres, party members, employees and workers to better understand their work and be more responsible in building an increasingly civilized agency.

With the results achieved in rectifying working style and building a cultural environment in agencies and units, Anh Son has limited the situation of sluggishness, dependence, and inefficiency in work, and increased solidarity in agencies and units.
