(Baonghean.vn)In 1957, in the capital city of Warsaw, the 2nd International Conference of Teachers' Organizations, with 57 participating countries, decided to take November 20th every year as the "International Charter of Teachers' Day". On September 28, 1982, the Council of Ministers (now the Government) issued Decision 167 choosing November 20th every year as "Vietnam Teachers' Day". Together with the whole country, this year we celebrate the 29th anniversary of Vietnam Teachers' Day.MaleNovember 20. This is a special festival that is both international and has the largest national and social significance in our country.


Promoting the responsibility of each teacher, in the 2010-2011 school year, educational management in the province continued to innovate, facilities were constantly developed, with nearly 47% including 730 kindergartens and general schools meeting national standards. The team of teachers and management staff was standardized. The quality of mass education and the quality of key education improved significantly. In the 2011 national excellent student exam, Nghe An had 59 students achieving national excellent students, ranked 2nd nationwide and especially won 4 Gold, Silver and Bronze medals at the International and Asian Physics Olympiads.

In 2011, Nghe An had 19,000 students passing the university entrance exam, the highest number in the country, of which more than 130 students scored 25 points or more, with 5 valedictorians and salutatorians. This result recognized the efforts of teachers in the province who are always dedicated and responsible to their beloved students. The teachers are exemplary in implementing the Campaign "Studying and following the moral example of Ho Chi Minh", "Each teacher is a model of morality, self-study and creativity".


To promote the tradition of studiousness of Nghe An, the education and training sector and each teacher need to thoroughly grasp the Resolution of the 11th Party Congress, focusing on "Fundamental and comprehensive innovation of education and training", aiming to "improve the quality of human resources to meet the requirements of industrialization, modernization, and international economic integration of the country"; Imbued with the thoughts of Uncle Ho written in his last letter on October 15, 1968 to the education and training sector: "The task of teachers is very important and very glorious. Education is the cause of the masses". President Ho Chi Minh also reminded: "The sectors, Party committees at all levels and local authorities must really pay more attention to this cause, must take care of schools in all aspects, and push our education cause to new steps of development".


Society always upholds the tradition of "Respecting teachers and valuing education". Being honored as a "noble profession", every teacher should always be a shining example for students to follow!
