Russia denies supplying 30 tanks to self-proclaimed Donetsk Republic

Russian President Vladimir Putin's spokesman Dmitry Peskov on August 17 denied information in some media outlets that Moscow supplied tanks to the self-proclaimed Donetsk People's Republic in southeastern Ukraine.

"We once again confirm that no military equipment has been supplied to eastern Ukraine," Peskov said in an interview with Govorit Moskva radio.
