Russia accuses Ukraine of taking orders from extremists
AFP and Reuters news agencies reported on March 8 that Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov said the Ukrainian government had received orders from extremists and denied that Moscow had any direct role in the crisis in Crimea.
Speaking at a press conference in Moscow, Mr. Lavrov accused the new government in Ukraine of being puppets in the hands of armed extremists.

He also called on the Organization for Security and Cooperation in Europe (OSCE) to investigate those behind the deaths of dozens of people in Kiev in sniper attacks last month.
He stressed: ''We ask the OSCE to conduct an objective investigation into this issue. There are too many lies, and these lies have long been used to push European public opinion in the wrong direction, contrary to objective facts''./.
