Russia researches using "Boiling Stone" to heal burns

Russian scientists are working on a unique solution to heal burns quickly and affordably by using the mineral Zeolite (boiled rock) to make bandages.

Associate Professor Kirill Golokhvastov of Far Eastern Federal University (Russian Federation) said that Zeonite is a very common type of lava, with high absorption properties like a sponge.

In Russia, Zeolite is used in surgery for infected wounds such as perforated ulcers, purulent peritonitis... something that no other country in the world has applied.

Zeolites absorb pus from wounds in patients for whom conventional medicine has not found a solution to recover.

In addition, Zeolite is also effective in treating diseases with high mortality rates in livestock; improving contaminated soil; and used to transport fresh fish.

This Russian scientist said that Zeolite also possesses many wonderful properties such as absorbing radioactive substances and heavy metals in the air.

This mineral is widely used in daily life such as separating crude oil and cleaning polluted water.

According to Mr. Golokhvastov, to clean up the contaminated water after the Chernobyl accident, people also used Zeolite. Accordingly, water from the nuclear power plant was directed through the pit containing this mineral, so the radiation did not penetrate into the Dnieper River and most of the land of Ukraine.

Not only is it used as a priority in Russia, Zeonite is also widely used in the processing of functional foods and cosmetics, or in water purifiers and air conditioners in some countries around the world.
