Russia arrested 17 Chinese fishermen and confiscated 22.5 tons of seafood. In addition, one Chinese fisherman fell into the sea and his body was not found.
A spokesman for the Russian Northeast Coast Guard said that at the time of the incident, the Russian patrol ship Dzerzhinsky was patrolling in the country's exclusive economic zone in the Sea of Japan when it discovered a Chinese fishing boat fishing illegally.
