The antenna of the proximity sensor system, as well as the solar panels, have been opened on the Progress spacecraft, TASS news agency quoted a commentator from the Center as saying. "All external structural elements of the spacecraft are fully opened."
In April, during the previous launch, also during the opening of the spacecraft's external structural elements - a malfunction on the spacecraft was recorded.
This "Progress" launch is the first time a cargo ship has been sent to the International Space Station (ISS) after two accidents that caused Russia to lose the "Prograss M-27M" ship in April and the US to lose the "Dragon" ship in June./.
