Russia held a parade to celebrate Victory Day, Mr. Putin sent greetings to many countries
The annual parade on Red Square in Moscow will begin at 10 a.m. on May 9 (local time). Nearly 30 Russian cities will also hold parades to commemorate the Soviet Union's victory in World War II.

A powerful army and equipment
According to plan, 37 formations will parade on Red Square, with the participation of more than 12 thousand soldiers.
First came three heavy helicopters Mi-26, followed by five helicopters Mi-8, Mi-24 / Mi-35, Ka-52 and Mi-28N. Then three Il-76 military transport aircraft appeared in the sky, simulating aerial refueling between Il-78 and Tu-95MS, between Il-78 and Tu-160, the strategic aircraft Tu-160 flew with four Su-35S, and four Su-35S fighters and Su-24 front-line attack aircraft followed.

Next, four MiG-31K aircraft equipped with Kinzhal hypersonic missiles and fifth-generation Su-57 fighters flew over the capital. Then came a squadron of 10 aircraft from the Lipetsk Aviation Center, including Su-34, Su-30SM and Su-35S aircraft. The second to last in the sky was the "Kubinsky Diamond" - a formation of nine Su-30SM and MiG-29 aircraft of the Russian Knights and Strizhi air groups.
Then came the turn of the motor vehicle convoy with more than 190 models.military equipment, including the latest T-34, T-90M "Proryv" and T-14 "Armata" tanks, "Kurganets" infantry fighting vehicles, "Koalitsiya-SV" artillery systems.

President Putin congratulates a series of countries on the 76th anniversary of Victory in the Great Patriotic War
On this occasion, Russian President Vladimir Putin congratulated the leaders and citizens of Azerbaijan, Armenia, Belarus, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Moldova, Tajikistan, Turkmenistan, Uzbekistan, Abkhazia, South Ossetia, as well as the people of Georgia and Ukraine on the 76th anniversary of Victory Day in the Great Patriotic War.
In his congratulatory remarks, the Russian head of state stressed that on this day, with special pride and gratitude, we honor the feat of our ancestors, who heroically fought shoulder to shoulder against the enemy and selflessly worked in the rear.
