Russia surpasses China in number of Covid-19 infections

According to the TASS news agency on April 27, Russia has confirmed 6,198 new cases of Covid-19 infection in the past 24 hours, bringing the total number of positive cases of this virus strain here to 87,147 in all regions. This is the information announced by the Anti-Coronavirus Crisis Center on April 27.
Thus, in terms of the number of confirmed cases of Corona virus, Russia has surpassed China, which has so far recorded 84,500 positive cases.
“Russia has recorded an increase in the number of infections to 87,147 in 85 regions. About 579 people have been discharged from hospitals in the past day and 7,346 over the past period. Fifty coronavirus patients have died in the past day. The total number of deaths in Russia is 794,” the crisis center said.
It is known that about 43.4% of new patients (2,693 cases) did not show any symptoms. According to the Crisis Center, the daily increase in Covid-19 cases in Russia has decreased to 7.66%.
