(Baonghean.vn) - A woman in Zhejiang, China, was shocked to discover her mother in a photo of her husband taken 15 years ago when they met. Lu Yiqin, 25, recognized her family member when looking at childhood photos of her now-husband Zhang Hedong to prepare for their pre-wedding photo album.

Mr Zhang said the photos were taken when he visited the giant Buddha statue in Lingshan, Wuxi with his family in 2000.

When Lu saw the giant Buddha statue in the background of the photo, she had an interesting thought and dug up a photo of her mother 16 years ago, taken at the same location, wearing a striking red coat.

When she looked closely at the photo, Ms. Lu shouted: "That's my mother."

“My husband thought I was overreacting. Then I said, ‘That’s really my mother,’” Lu added.

Lu's mother, who was also present at the time, confirmed that she had indeed visited the tourist spot with her family during the Chinese New Year.
