Nghe An Social Policy Bank: Disbursed 2.1 billion VND for poor and near-poor households

(Baonghean.vn) -On May 28, Nghe An Province's Social Policy Bank disbursed 2.1 billion VND in Nghi An Commune - Vinh City, including 2 programs: lending to poor households and near-poor households.

Of which, the poor household program provided 1.5 billion VND for 76 households and the near-poor household program provided 600 million VND for 30 households. On average, each household was able to borrow 20 million VND; bringing the total outstanding loans to poor households in Nghi An commune to nearly 4 billion VND to date, with 230 households receiving loans.

The loan capital has met 90% of the capital demand for loans for poor households in Nghi An commune. With access to loans, poor households in the locality have invested in developing production and livestock, promoting the efficiency of capital, contributing to creating jobs and improving their lives.
