First domestic bank to provide aircraft credit

Tien Phong Bank is the first domestic bank to sign an aircraft credit contract with Vietjet with an initial limit of 21 million USD, expected to increase in the near future.

Airbus's latest generation A320 Sharklet aircraft has just been delivered to Vietjet.

Previously, a number of foreign banks and financial institutions such as GECAS (USA) signed a financial leasing contract; BNP Paribas (France) and Jackson Square (Mitsubishi UFJ Group - Japan) and a number of other banks signed agreements in principle on providing aircraft finance with Vietjet. These institutions are in the process of finalizing the contracts.

On the same day, the latest generation Airbus A320 Sharklet aircraft, which was just delivered to Vietjet in Toulouse (France), also arrived at Tan Son Nhat International Airport (HCMC). The new aircraft, numbered VN-A696, has just left the factory.
