Nghe An Agricultural Bank holds customer conference

(Baonghean.vn) -On October 5, in Vinh City, the Bank for Agriculture and Rural Development, Nghe An Branch, held a customer conference.2012.

Attending the event were Mr. Thai Van Hang - Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee, leaders of the State Bank of Nghe An branch and 80 typical customers representing nearly 500,000 customers in the entire branch.

Overview of the conference.

In the first 8 months of 2012, despite the complicated developments in the currency trading market, Nghe An Agricultural Bank proactively followed the goals and directions of the Vietnam Agricultural Bank, strictly implemented the policies of the State Bank, ensuring good business results. According to the report of Nghe An Agricultural Bank Branch: by the end of August 2012, the total capital managed and mobilized by the whole system reached 10,628.6 billion VND, an increase of nearly 2,370 billion VND compared to the beginning of the year. Loan turnover reached 7,178.6 billion VND, an increase of 1,943.7 billion VND compared to the same period last year. From now until the end of the year, the Branch strives to increase the average outstanding loan balance to 9 billion VND/person, increasing by 960 billion VND in the last months of the year. The proportion of medium and long-term outstanding loans is a maximum of 40% of total outstanding loans. The bad debt ratio is below 2% of total outstanding loans.

At the conference, the Branch leaders introduced new products and services to customers; at the same time, listened to customers' opinions on the quality and service attitude of the bank in the past time in order to adjust business methods to better meet customers' capital needs, creating conditions to promote local economic development.
