Vietcombank Trung Do Branch hands over self-flowing water project to Chau Phong commune (Quy Chau)

(Baonghean.vn) –This morning, February 6, at the People's Committee of Chau Phong commune, Quy Chau district, Joint Stock Commercial Bank for Foreign Trade of Vietnam (Vietcombank), Trung Do Branch held a handover ceremony of the self-flowing water project to the Boarding Secondary School, Medical Station and the People's Committee of Chau Phong commune.

The project has a total value of 101 million VND, which is the amount of money saved and contributed by the staff of Vietcombank Trung Do Branch to help poor communes as assigned by the Provincial People's Committee in 2012. The project includes 3 water tanks at 3 units; 3.5 km of water pipeline from the source, mobilized by the Commune People's Committee and constructed based on the survey and design approved by the Trung Do Branch. After being put into use, the project will supply water to the staff and civil servants of the Commune People's Committee; doctors and patients of the Commune Health Station and 322 boarding students of the Boarding Secondary School.

Speaking at the ceremony, the leaders of the Party Committee and People's Committee of Chau Phong commune thanked the Vietcombank Trung Do Branch for its support and sponsorship to the locality. On the sponsor's side, the leaders of Trung Do Branch also hoped that the locality would manage, use and maintain the project well to promote its effectiveness.

On this occasion, the Bank for Foreign Trade of Vietnam Trung Do Branch presented 30 gifts, each worth 200,000 VND, to students and some poor households in Chau Phong commune.
