Nghe An Regional Railway Industry: Collected more than 7 tons of waste

(Baonghean.vn) - Responding to the annual Railway Environment Day (November 5), on the morning of November 5, more than 2,000 railway employees in Nghe An simultaneously collected waste and cleaned the environment along the railway line and in the areas of agencies, offices, and stations.

Employees at Cau Giat station area, Quynh Luu district are collecting waste for treatment.

The locomotive, carriage, signal information, transportation and road bridge systems all have staff working at their posts, the remaining 100% of the staff participate in garbage collection. In Vinh city and key points such as Cho Sy station, Cau Giat station, the amount of garbage collected along the route is approximately 7 tons. Part of this garbage is burned and treated on the spot by the staff. The rest is transported to a centralized landfill for treatment.

It is known that since the railway industry took November 5 as railway environment day, pollution on the railway line has improved significantly.
