Que Phong Department of Education and Training summarizes the 2011-2012 school year
(Baonghean.vn) -Today, (August 29, 2012), the Department of Education and Training of Que Phong district held a summary of the 2011-2012 school year and deployed tasks for the new school year.
Last school year, Que Phong mobilized 5 junior high school supplementary classes with 115 students, 1,236 children from 5-year-old kindergarten to grade 1 (98.8%), 1,257 children from 6-year-old entering grade 1 (99.13%). Mobilized 976 students who completed the primary school program to grade 6 (97.6%), 526 students who graduated from grade 9 took the entrance exam to grade 10 (60.8%). In general, the number of preschool and primary school students was maintained stable. However, there were still 111 students from all levels from primary, secondary, high school to high school supplementary students who dropped out. The main reasons were poor academic performance, difficult family circumstances, and others because their houses were far away and there was no boarding facility at the school.

The quality and effectiveness of education in the past year has been significantly improved. Preschool education has been innovated, promoting activities to enhance Vietnamese language for 5-year-old preschoolers of ethnic minorities. Primary school students participate in English competitions on the internet, primary school math exchanges... contributing to improving the quality of students.
On this occasion, the People's Committee of Que Phong district awarded 6 advanced communes in education, 3 schools with the title of leading flag, 24 schools with the title of advanced labor, 112 cadres and teachers with the title of advanced emulation at the district level.
