Nghe An Transport Industry: 289 million VND to support the "Social - Charity" Fund

(Baonghean.vn) - Responding to the appeal letter of the Minister of Transport, on the morning of July 24, the Department of Transport coordinated with the Transport Industry Trade Union to organize a launching ceremony to raise donations and support the "Social - Charity Fund".

At the launching ceremony, units and enterprises in the transport sector contributed 289 million VND to the "Social - Charity Fund". Of which, each civil servant and public employee of the Department of Transport and in the transport sector donated two days' salary.

This is a meaningful activity of the officers and employees of the Transport sector joining hands to care for, help and encourage former Youth Volunteers, veterans in especially difficult circumstances, children of workers and civil servants in the sector who are disabled, infected with Agent Orange, or have serious illnesses, to overcome difficulties and stabilize their lives. At the same time, this is also a gratitude activity of the Nghe An Department of Transport on the occasion of the 67th anniversary of War Invalids and Martyrs Day (July 27) and the 64th anniversary of the Traditional Day of the Youth Volunteers.
