(Baonghean.vn) - On the morning of January 15, under the chairmanship of comrade Le Ba Hung - Member of the Provincial Party Executive Committee, Head of the Provincial Party Committee's Propaganda Department, the Provincial Party Committee's Propaganda Department held a conference to summarize propaganda work in 2015 and deploy tasks in 2016.

Attending the conference were comrades Le Quang Huy - Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee; Ho Phuc Hop - Member of the Provincial Party Committee Standing Committee, Head of the Provincial Party Committee's Mass Mobilization Commission; representatives of the Standing Committee and Propaganda Department of District, City, Town Party Committees and affiliated Party Committees.

In 2015, the Provincial Party Committee's Propaganda Department and the district level organized consultations for the Party Committee on propaganda plans before, during and after the Party Congresses at all levels, the 18th Provincial Party Congress, term 2015 - 2020; propagandized major events of the country and the province in a systematic and effective manner.

Information and social opinion work is carried out promptly, fully and accurately, ensuring information and social opinion orientation.

Reporting activities are carried out in a disciplined and quality manner. Attention is paid to training and fostering political theory for cadres and party members. During the year, the Propaganda Department at all levels opened 1,414 training courses on propaganda work with over 150,000 cadres.

Head of the Propaganda Department of Yen Thanh District Party Committee presented some experiences in propaganda work to implement new rural areas.

The Provincial Party Committee's Propaganda Department also organized the editing and publication of volume 5 of the book "Nghe An - communist role models". Scientific and educational work; directing quality cultural and artistic activities. Propaganda Departments at all levels continued to advise Party committees to strengthen leadership and direction in implementing Directive 03 of the Politburo on continuing to promote the study and following of Ho Chi Minh's moral example.

Speaking at the conference, comrade Le Quang Huy - Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee praised the efforts and achievements of the Propaganda sector in 2015.

Regarding the tasks of 2016, the Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee said that the country's economic and social development is placing extremely heavy responsibilities on the propaganda sector.

In the immediate future, the Propaganda sector needs to focus on implementing activities to welcome the 12th National Party Congress and activities to celebrate the Party and Spring; and propaganda about the election of National Assembly and People's Council deputies at all levels for the 2016-2021 term. In propaganda, in addition to focusing on thematic issues, it is necessary to increase vivid visual propaganda.

The Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee also requested that the Propaganda Department proactively grasp the situation to promptly inform and orient public opinion, and at the same time take measures to combat and refute false information that opposes the Party and the State.

Advise and contribute to doing well the ideological work in personnel work, rotation of cadres that Party committees at all levels deploy during the term; continue to implement Directive 03 of the Politburo, Directive 17 of the Provincial Party Standing Committee.

Science and education work needs to focus on promoting the application of science and technology in agricultural production and people's lives; pay attention to protecting the rural environment and industrial production facilities; and take care of people's health....
