Construction Industry receives Third Class Independence Medal and celebrates 55th anniversary of tradition

(Baonghean.vn) -On the morning of May 24, Nghe An Department of Construction solemnly held a ceremony to receive the Third Class Independence Medal and celebrate the 55th anniversary of the Construction Industry's Traditional Day.

Attending the ceremony were comrades: Nguyen The Trung - Member of the Party Central Committee, Deputy Head of the Central Committee for Mass Mobilization; Nguyen The Ky - Deputy Head of the Central Committee for Propaganda and Education; Nguyen Dinh Toan - Deputy Minister of Construction. On the side of Nghe An province, there were comrades: Ho Duc Phoc - Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee; Nguyen Xuan Duong - Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee and veteran revolutionary cadres, along with leaders of all levels and sectors in the province.

The speech delivered at the ceremony by the leader of the Department of Construction reviewed the history of formation and development of the construction industry in general and Nghe An construction industry in particular. Over 55 years of construction and growth, the construction industry has overcome many difficulties and challenges, successfully completed all assigned tasks, and always maintained its role as one of the key economic sectors of the province.

Comrade Nguyen Xuan Duong - Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee presented a banner to the Nghe An Construction sector.

After 25 years of innovation, the Construction industry is one of the pioneers in the work of arranging and innovating enterprises and production and business orientation. The industry has advised the Provincial Party Committee, People's Council, and Provincial People's Committee on many policies, plans, and projects related to planning, technical infrastructure, urban development, construction management, appraisal, construction quality management, construction material development, and housing development.

Notable works include: Ho Chi Minh Square, Central Park, Vinh - Cua Lo Boulevard, Lenin Boulevard, commercial centers, high-rise apartments... contributing significantly to the socio-economic development of the province. These contributions and achievements have been recognized by the Party and the State, many collectives and individuals over the years have been awarded Medals and many other noble awards and titles. On the occasion of the 55th anniversary of the industry's tradition, Nghe An Construction Industry was honored to be awarded the Third Class Independence Medal by the Party and the State.

Speaking at the ceremony, comrades Nguyen Dinh Toan - Deputy Minister of Construction; Nguyen Xuan Duong - Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee acknowledged and praised the great and effective contributions of the Construction sector of Nghe An province over the past 55 years. The Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee requested the Department of Construction to perform well a number of key tasks: Strengthening state management of construction; improving the quality of urban planning and management, basic construction investment, construction licensing, focusing on construction quality management; Continuing to direct the implementation of construction material development projects; Focusing on promoting administrative reform, improving public ethics for industry officials...

Celebrating the 55th anniversary of the tradition of the Construction industry, recognizing the great contributions of the Nghe An Construction industry to the development of the province, the Provincial Party Committee, People's Council, People's Committee, and Provincial Fatherland Front Committee presented the Nghe An Construction industry with a banner bearing the words "Nghe An Construction Industry 55 years of construction and development".



Deputy Minister of Construction Nguyen Dinh Toan awarded the Prime Minister's certificate of merit to Mr. Hoang Trong Kim - Director of the Department of Construction.

On this occasion, Mr. Hoang Trong Kim - Director of the Department of Construction was awarded a Certificate of Merit by the Prime Minister for his outstanding achievements in the period 2007 - 2012.
