Mr. Nguyen Cong Hoan - Chairman of Hung Nhan commune said: "Since yesterday morning, the commune's Flood and Storm Prevention Committee has been actively responding to the flood with the people, and so far the damage has amounted to 2 billion VND. Fortunately, in the area, 50 poor households have been supported by the State with flood shelters, so so far there have been no human casualties."
Like Hung Nhan commune, Hung Loi commune has 5 hamlets located outside the dike, of which 4 hamlets have been deeply flooded. People have moved their cattle, buffaloes and some assets to Dike 42.
