January 10, 1226:King Tran Thai Tong ascended the throne, becoming the first king of the Tran dynasty.

January 10, 1929:The Adventures of Tintin comic book, created by Belgian artist Georges Remi, first appeared in the newspaper Le Petit Vingtième

January 10, 1937:Delegates from printing factories in Hanoi held a meeting at 181 Lo Duc Street, Hanoi to establish the Tonkin Printing Workers' Association and present a 15-point petition to the French government. January 10 became the traditional day of Vietnamese printing workers.
