January 13, 1941:Cung Team with 50 fellow prisoners of war stationed in Do Luong (Nghe An) rose up to seize the fort. Then they moved back to capture Vinh citadel but were captured before they succeeded. Cung Team and 9 comrades were taken by the French colonialists to be executed at Cho Rang on the morning of April 25, 1941.

January 13, 1953:From January 13 to 28, 1953, the Inter-Zone 5 Command organized and directed the An Khe campaign.
