(Baonghean.vn) -On May 5, grassroots party committees held congresses for the 2015-2020 term.

*On May 5, the Party Committee of Tay Son commune (Ky Son) held the 7th Party Congress, term 2015 - 2020.

Tay Son is one of the poorest and most disadvantaged communes of the Ky Son border district, with 6 villages and 10 party cells, with 128 party members. The population is mainly Mong ethnic people. The commune has nearly 11,600 hectares of natural land, of which 99% of the land area is steep hills.

To overcome the above difficulties, in the past 5 years, the Party Committee, government and people of Tay Son have actively developed the economy mainly based on agricultural production and focused on livestock. Since then, the area and output of short-term industrial crops have continuously increased; the model as well as the total number of livestock and poultry have increasingly developed.

The whole commune has 9 economic development models with annual income of 50 - 60 million VND, including 5 livestock farm models, 4 models of cultivation, zoning and protection of forest land. Cultural - social work, education - training, national defense - security, as well as Party building and development work are of interest to the Party Committee and government.

Vote to elect the Party Committee of Tay Son commune for the 2015 - 2020 term.

In the 2015 - 2020 term, Tay Son Commune Party Committee strives to increase the local budget revenue to 60 million VND/year; average income per capita to reach 14 to 15 million VND/person/year; annually replicate 2 to 4 highly efficient farm models; annually reduce 7.5% of poor households and by the end of the term achieve 12/19 new rural criteria.

The Congress elected 16 comrades to the Executive Committee of the Commune Party Committee, term VII, 2015 - 2020, and elected 5 delegates to attend the District Party Congress, term XXII, 2015 - 2020.

*On May 4 and 5, the Party Committee of Hung Lam commune (Hung Nguyen) held the 29th congress for the 2015-2020 term.

Comrade Hoang Van Phi - Secretary of Hung Nguyen District Party Committee attended and spoke at the congress.

During the past term, the Party Committee and people of Hung Lam commune have united, overcome all difficulties and achieved many results in many fields: economic growth rate of 6.6%, average income per capita of 20.4 million VND/year, total export value of 67.5 billion VND, economic structure shifted in the right direction and developed, infrastructure was increasingly strengthened, 95% of people had access to clean water, people implemented the waste collection project well. Patriotic emulation movements were enthusiastically and widely responded by cadres and people, national defense and security were maintained, social order and safety were stable, 16 outstanding people were admitted to the Party.

At the congress, delegates spent a lot of time contributing and proposing many solutions for economic development, focusing on developing livestock, especially crossbred cattle, and promoting labor export.

The delegates also agreed on the goals for the 2015 - 2020 term such as an average economic growth rate of 7.2%, a total production value of 148.66 billion VND by 2020, an average income per capita of 40 million VND/year, an agricultural economic structure of 24.35%; industry and construction of 20.73%; trade and services of 54.92%, the rate of achieving cultural families from 80 - 85.5%, 70% of hamlets achieving cultural villages, and the poverty rate reduced to 4%. The government, the Fatherland Front and socio-political organizations have excellently fulfilled their tasks. The Party has achieved a clean and strong position.

At the congress, delegates elected the 29th Executive Committee consisting of 12 comrades and elected delegates to attend the 28th District Party Congress.
