June 5th opening of the mid-term Vietnam Business Forum

The forum will discuss important issues such as banking, capital markets, investment, trade, etc.

With the theme “From Program to Action - Getting Ready for New Trade Agreements”, the mid-term Vietnam Business Forum (VBF 2014) will take place tomorrow (June 5) in Hanoi.

The forum will focus on discussing the impacts, opportunities and challenges after Vietnam signed a number of important agreements such as the Trans-Pacific Partnership (TPP) and the Free Trade Agreement with the European Union.

Important issues of particular interest to foreign investors such as banking and capital markets, investment and trade, infrastructure, employment, etc. will be discussed and solutions proposed during this session.

The Vietnam Business Forum is a policy dialogue channel between the Vietnamese Government and the domestic and foreign business community, held annually with the aim of building a favorable business environment, attracting investment and promoting sustainable economic development in Vietnam./.
