Essay marked in 2 independent rounds
According to regulations, to ensure the accuracy of exam results, the first and second examiners sit in two separate rooms. In the first marking, the examiner will draw a bag of papers that have been marked and the marking sheet. Before marking, these papers will be checked for "handwriting by two people, writing, drawing content unrelated to the test content...". These papers will have their results canceled.
During the first marking, the component scores, the overall score and comments (if any) are recorded on the marking sheet for each paper. This sheet clearly states the full name and signature of the examiner. The examiner must not write anything on the candidate's paper or the examination bag.
In the second marking, after drawing the marking sheets, the staff will continue to draw the bag of papers, ensuring that it is not returned to the same person who marked the first time. The marking process is carried out as in the first time.At least 5% of the graded essay papers will be checked.
