February 8, 1931:In front of the Larenhierơ Street football field (Saigon - now Ho Chi Minh City), when the football match had just ended, a large rally was held. The red hammer and sickle flag was raised high. Comrade Phan Boi stood up to give a speech. The secret police inspector Le Gorang tried to arrest comrade Phan Boi but was shot dead by Ly Tu Trong. Ly Tu Trong was arrested immediately after. Ly Tu Trong's brave action caused a big stir.
