Last day to adjust university wishes, candidates must note 4 things

This year, the whole country has more than 1 million candidates.high school graduation exam, of which, about 917,700 students registered to use the exam results to both graduate from high school and apply for university admission.

As of 5:00 p.m. on July 29, the Ministry of Education and Training's general admission system recorded more than 640,000 candidates registering for admission with a total of 3.2 million wishes on the system. On average, each candidate registered about 5 wishes for admission to universities across the country.

Thus, there are more than 270,000 candidates who have not registered for university admission.

At 5:00 p.m. today (July 30), the general enrollment system of the Ministry of Education and Training will close and at this time, candidates will not be able to register or adjust their university admission wishes.

“You should not wait until the last minute, because at this time many people may register, causing network congestion,” said Ms. Thuy.

Those who are admitted early still have to register their wishes on the general system.

Ms. Thuy noted that if candidates want to be officially admitted to any university, they are required toregister your wisheson the general enrollment support system of the Ministry of Education and Training.

This means that candidates, even though they are eligible for admission through early admission methods, must still re-register to confirm their wishes on the common system of the Ministry of Education and Training.

If the candidate does not register on the system, it is considered that he/she has given up the right to be admitted to that major/school.

A representative of the Ministry of Education and Training said that once the candidate's name is on the list of candidates eligible for early admission and has been uploaded to the system by training institutions, if the candidate chooses and wants to be sure of being admitted to that major, the candidate needs to register that major in their first choice.

However, when registering on the Ministry's system, candidates still have the right not to prioritize all schools that have confirmed their eligibility for early admission. Instead, candidates can set their first choice as another choice.

Specifically, with early admission wishes, if candidates do not really like them, they can put these wishes down and put the favorite wishes but not yet admitted up.

Ms. Thuy said that in this case, if candidates register for early admission, then if they fail the above wishes, they can rest assured that they will definitely pass the early admission wishes if they meet the requirements.

“In the above case, any candidate who fails to pass the early admission exam, please submit a petition to the Ministry of Education and Training and we will handle and resolve the matter to ensure the rights of the candidate. Therefore, parents and candidates can be completely assured,” said Ms. Thuy.

Do not register too many or too few wishes.

According to the admission regulations, each candidate can register for an unlimited number of wishes and schools. Candidates must arrange their wishes in order of priority from highest to lowest, in which wish 1 is the highest wish.

Once ranked in order of priority, each candidate will only be admitted to the highest possible choice.

The registration of the number of wishes and the arrangement of the wishes in the general system are entirely up to the candidates. The general system of the Ministry of Education and Training will consider admission from high to low, if a wish is accepted, the following wishes will automatically not be considered.

The Director of the Department of Higher Education (Ministry of Education and Training) said that candidates should be careful not to register too few wishes because of possible risks. Especially for candidates who have not been admitted by any early admission method.

“Although we know that this year, many candidates have passed the early admission exam (and only need to register their wishes and graduate from high school), they should still be on guard against possible problems,” said Ms. Thuy.

Because even if notified early of eligibility, it is still possible that candidates do not meet the actual requirements, or make mistakes in declaration, documents, etc.

On the contrary, Ms. Thuy also said that candidates should not register too many wishes to avoid waste. “Registering hundreds of wishes is unnecessary. I have seen candidates register more than 100 wishes in previous years,” Ms. Thuy said.

After completing the registration and adjusting admission wishes before 5:00 p.m. today (July 30), candidates need to note that they must:pay application fee onlinefrom 31/7 to 17:00 on 6/8.

- From 0:00 on August 1 to 17:00 on August 2: Hoa Binh, Thai Nguyen, Lang Son, Quang Ninh, Bac Giang, Phu Tho, Vinh Phuc, Bac Ninh, Hai Duong, Hai Phong.

- From 0:00 on August 2 to 17:00 on August 3: Hung Yen, Thai Binh, Ha Nam, Nam Dinh, Ninh Binh, Thanh Hoa, Nghe An.
