National Unity Day in Ban Bong (Thanh Son)
(Baonghean.vn) - On November 9, the people of village 8, Bong village, Thanh Son commune (Anh Son) solemnly organized the National Great Unity Day to celebrate the 84th anniversary of the founding of the Vietnam National United Front (November 18, 1930 - November 18, 2014).

Village 8, Bong village has 83 households and 365 people. In recent years, the village has united and proactively overcome all difficulties to promote the transformation of crop and livestock structure, following the farm model and commodity production, thanks to which people's lives have been gradually improved, culture, society and the face of the countryside have increasingly flourished. Village 8 has 6 self-governing groups, 2 volleyball teams, 2 football teams and 1 art team. The cultural, art and sports movement in the village has developed strongly. Implementing the movement "All people unite to build a cultural life in residential areas" has had a widespread influence. In the village, bad customs have been eliminated, traditional cultural features of the Thai people such as: Nhuon dance, Dieu Thap dance, brocade weaving, and craft villages have been preserved, conserved and promoted. The villagers have well implemented the Party and State's guidelines and policies, and have also done well in the work of gratitude, mutual love and support. These results have contributed to the changes in Bong village.

Speaking at the ceremony, Comrade Le Hong Vinh - Secretary of the District Party Committee acknowledged the efforts and contributions of the people of Village 8 to the overall development of the district in recent years. He hoped that the Front and people's organizations in the village would continue to innovate the content and methods of operation; promote patriotic emulation movements, continue to develop models of self-governance, build increasingly prosperous and happy villages, and become a model village of the whole district in the movement of the whole people uniting to build a cultural life in residential areas.
On this occasion, the district leaders presented gifts to the Front Committee of Village 8 and presented 05 gifts to 05 poor households in Village 8, Bong village. Each gift is worth 500,000 VND.
