Great solidarity festival in Tan Hop block, Hung Dung ward

(Baonghean.vn) - On the afternoon of November 12, Tan Hop block, Hung Dung ward organized a national solidarity festival, received the title of Cultural Block and celebrated the 10th anniversary of the block's founding.Comrade Nguyen Trung Chau - Head of Vinh City Party Committee's Propaganda Department attended the ceremony.

Tan Hop is a special block of Hung Dung ward, an apartment complex with 9.5 hectares, 4 apartment buildings with 216 households, 650 people. After 10 years of development with many difficulties, with the efforts of the executive committee and the leadership of the ward, Tan Hop block has gradually improved the executive committee, party organization, created solidarity among the people and built collective movements, cared about people's lives, helped poor households. Up to now, the block has only 1 poor household.

Since 2013, the people in the block have contributed to building a cultural house, a reading room, and a playground with many spacious facilities to serve people inside and outside the block. In 2015, the block had more than 95% cultural families; in 2016, there were 170/187 cultural families, of which 126/187 households achieved the title of Cultural Family for 3 consecutive years.

There is no more theft or drug addiction in the block. The environment is always kept clean and orderly. People are increasingly aware of building a cultural and spiritual life, strictly complying with the rules and regulations of the block and ward as well as the laws and policies of the Party and State. On the occasion of the celebration of the great national unity day, the cadres and people of Tan Hop block also celebrated the 10th anniversary of its establishment and received the title of Cultural Block in 2015.

Speaking at the ceremony, representatives of Vinh City Party Committee and Hung Dung Ward acknowledged and congratulated the cadres and people of Tan Hop block on their achievements over 10 years of development.
