The 2025 exam season left a special mark on Hung Dung Secondary School (Vinh City) when 27 students passed the entrance exam to Phan Boi Chau High School for the Gifted, including 2 valedictorians in Chemistry and Literature. They are Le Khanh Hung - Nguyen Ngoc Linh, two friends in class 9A.

Without fanfare or grand stages, traders in the traditional markets in Vinh City celebrate April 30 in their own unique way: pooling money to buy flags, red shirts with yellow stars, balloons, fresh flowers, etc. to dye their stalls red, and bustlingly 'parade' in the middle of the market. A normal day is suddenly warmed by the simple yet profound spirit of patriotism.

Hung Dung Ward, Vinh City, was formerly known as Yen Dung Thuong Commune. It was honored to be called the Red Village because this place had a vibrant patriotic and revolutionary movement with Party cells and "red" mass organizations (red peasant associations, red guards, etc.) that developed strongly in the 1930s. This year, in the parade celebrating the 50th Anniversary of the Liberation of the South, "Hung Dung Red Village" was honored to have 3 outstanding children selected to participate, contributing to further embellishing the heroic revolutionary tradition of the homeland.
