Great Unity Day in Dong Thanh Commune - Yen Thanh

(Baonghean.vn) -This morning, November 10, Dong Phuc hamlet, Dong Thanh commune, Yen Thanh district organized a national solidarity festival to celebrate the 82nd anniversary of the founding of the Vietnam National United Front (November 18, 1930 - November 18, 2012). Attending the event was Ms. Lo Thi Kim Ngan - Vice Chairwoman of the Provincial Fatherland Front Committee.

Over the years, Dong Phuc hamlet, Dong Thanh commune, Yen Thanh district has constantly united, overcome difficulties; promoted the movement "All people unite to build a cultural life in residential areas"; implemented and complied with the Party's policies, the State's laws and local conventions and covenants. Efforts have been made to help each other eliminate hunger, reduce poverty, develop the economy, and people's lives have been increasingly improved. Up to now, the average income per capita has reached nearly 15 million VND/year; the poverty rate has decreased to 3.1%; 87% of households meet the cultural family standards. In particular, people in the hamlet have joined hands and unanimously implemented the new rural construction movement, people have voluntarily contributed over 214 million VND and daily wages to build the internal traffic and irrigation system, carry out the second land conversion, shift the crop structure, develop livestock, and do multi-industry business.

Celebrating the 82nd anniversary of the founding of the Vietnam National United Front, the national solidarity festival in residential areas is an opportunity for the people of Dong Phuc hamlet, Dong Thanh commune to continue promoting the study and following of Ho Chi Minh's moral example; the movement for the whole people to unite to build a cultural life in residential areas associated with the national goal of building new rural areas, gradually building advanced residential areas.
