National Unity Day in Bao Thanh parish

(Baonghean.vn) -On the afternoon of November 12, people in Hamlet 11, Bao Thanh Commune, Yen Thanh District enthusiastically organized the National Great Unity Day.

Attending the festival were comrade Nguyen Van Huy - Chairman of the Fatherland Front Committee of Nghe An province, priest Nguyen Xuan Hoang - administrator, parish priest of Bao Nam, leaders of the People's Committee, Fatherland Front Committee of Yen Thanh district, Bao Thanh commune and many people of hamlet 11 and neighboring hamlets of Bao Thanh commune.

This year's National Great Unity Day in Hamlet 11, Bao Thanh Commune took place at the same time as the Hamlet Front Committee organized a preliminary review and evaluation of the results of one year of implementing patriotic emulation movements, the campaign "National solidarity to build cultural life in residential areas", the campaign "Day for the poor" and the campaign "Vietnamese people prioritize using Vietnamese goods".

Hamlet 11 has 162 households, 730 people, 346 workers, the proportion of Catholics accounts for 95.5%. For generations, the people in the hamlet have had a tradition of solidarity between religions, "Living a good life and a good religion", together developing the family economy, building the homeland and the country. Currently, the whole hamlet has only 9 poor households, 10 near-poor households. The goal is to strive for 2014, the hamlet has only 5 poor households. The hamlet's cultural, artistic, physical education and sports movements are developing strongly. Security and order are always ensured, there are no cases of law violations.
