"Spring Colors Across the Country" Festival 2016
The festival "Spring Colors in All Regions of the Country" is an annual event held at the Vietnam National Village for Ethnic Culture and Tourism.
From February 12 to February 15, 2016 (ie January 5 to 8 of the Year of the Monkey), the festival "Spring Colors in All Regions of the Country" 2016 will take place at the Vietnam National Village for Ethnic Culture and Tourism, Dong Mo, Son Tay, Hanoi.
On the occasion of the traditional New Year, to celebrate the success of the 12th National Congress of the Party, from February 12 to February 15, 2016 (ie the 5th to the 8th day of the first lunar month of the Year of the Monkey), the Management Board of the Vietnam Ethnic Culture and Tourism Village organized the "Spring Colors in All Regions of the Country" Festival in Dong Mo, Son Tay, Hanoi. This is an annual event held at the Vietnam Ethnic Culture and Tourism Village.

The festival "Spring Colors in Every Region of the Country" will recreate the unique festivals welcoming the New Year, wishing for growth, development, solidarity, celebrating the glorious Party, celebrating the New Spring to welcome people and visitors to the "common home" of the community of 54 Vietnamese ethnic groups.
The 2016 “Spring Colors in All Regions of the Country” Festival will have the participation of the Thai ethnic group (Son La province); Tay ethnic group (Thai Nguyen province); Giay ethnic group (Ha Giang province), prestigious people in the community (scholars, intellectuals, village elders, village chiefs, artisans, etc.) with many rich contents such as: Songs to celebrate the Party and celebrate Spring; Long Tong Festival (Going to the fields) and the expectation of Party and State leaders wishing the people of all ethnic groups a Happy New Year, New Year Festival of the Giay ethnic group (Drum Dance Festival), Peace-praying Festival of the Thai ethnic group, etc.
In addition, there will be many folk activities, folk dances, ethnic games, traditional cuisine, and ethnic sports organized such as: xoe dance, gongs, bamboo dancing, stilt walking, throwing con, swinging, walking on the bridge, and exchanging folk songs and dances with tourists, creating a jubilant atmosphere of early spring.
In particular, the Spring Wrestling Festival organized by the General Department of Sports and Physical Training in coordination with the Management Board of the Vietnam Ethnic Culture and Tourism Village with the participation of 5 ethnic wrestling teams from the units: Hanoi, Vinh Phuc and Kinh Bac Ethnic Wrestling Association will take place at 2:30 p.m. - 4:00 p.m. on February 13, 2016 (the 6th day of Tet) at the Ethnic Villages Square, promising to be one of the highlights attracting tourists when coming to the "Common House" of the Vietnam Ethnic Culture and Tourism Village.
Before that, on February 10-11 (the 3rd-4th day of Tet), the Ethnic Village Area (Management Board of the Vietnam Ethnic Culture and Tourism Village) will also organize an introduction of culture, customs, and practices to celebrate the New Year, folk songs, folk dances, and ethnic games of the Thai and Muong ethnic groups, and other tourist attractions such as the Cham Tower complex, Khmer pagoda, etc. to serve the needs of visitors./.
