Many young people come to visit, buy books and donate old books to support poor children.

According to the Organizing Committee, the books will be received and classified, then children's books will be given directly to the sick children's beds the next day, while books for older children will be sold and all proceeds will be used to help the families of sick children in difficult circumstances.

The festival also features booths selling unique handicrafts such as leather notebooks; notebooks, blankets, pillows, fabric bags; wire-bending jewelry... Not only buying and selling, at the booths, there are guides to guide visitors to make lovely handicrafts from A to Z.

Creative drawing class booth (collage, card drawing, clay modeling, circle drawing...) with guidance from young artists attracts children to participate.

Participating in the meaningful book festival, Huong Quynh (student of Banking Academy, Hanoi) shared: "Although the space of the book festival is small, it is decorated very beautifully and cozy. Coming here, I have chosen to buy many satisfactory books at half price and admire the elaborate handmade products. I also brought some of my old books to support the children. That makes me very happy".

Next to the book and craft selling area, a small outdoor stage was set up, with buskers and musicians performing for visitors.
