The Northwest Ethnic Culture, Sports and Tourism Festival will take place in November 2013.
The 12th Cultural, Sports and Tourism Festival of ethnic groups in the Northwest region in Hoa Binh province is scheduled to take place in early November 2013.

According to the newly issued Plan of the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism, the 12th Cultural, Sports and Tourism Festival of Ethnic Groups in the Northwest region in Hoa Binh province in 2013 will have the participation of 6 provinces in the Northwest region: Hoa Binh, Son La, Dien Bien, Lai Chau, Lao Cai and Yen Bai.
With the theme “Northwest ethnic groups - Solidarity - Integration towards the future”, the 12th Northwest ethnic group Culture, Sports and Tourism Festival aims to contribute to economic development, care for the material and spiritual life of the people, and at the same time educate the tradition of patriotism, consolidate and strengthen the national solidarity bloc.
In addition to the Ceremony including: Opening and Closing Ceremony (with separate script), the Festival will take place with the Festival and activities including: Mass art festival of ethnic groups in the Northwest region; performance, introduction of rituals, cultural activities and demonstration of traditional costumes of ethnic groups; display, introduction and promotion of cultural and tourism products; art photo exhibition "Colors of the Northwest" and photo exhibition about people and potential of the Northwest region in the process of integration and development; art exchange; tourism activities - fairs; scientific seminar on the theme "Preserving and promoting ethnic cultural values with sustainable tourism development in the Northwest region"; reenactment of the highland market of ethnic groups in Hoa Binh.../.
