Third working day of the Party Central Committee Conference

On the morning of October 2, the third working day of the 8th Conference, the Party Central Committee held a meeting at the Conference Hall.

Mr. Le Hong Anh, Politburo member, Standing member of the Secretariat, chaired the meeting on behalf of the Politburo.

Mr. Nguyen Tan Dung, Politburo member, Prime Minister read the Report of the Government Party Committee on the socio-economic situation in 2013, tasks in 2014; assessed the implementation of the Resolution of the 11th Party Congress on socio-economic development, focusing on three strategic breakthroughs associated with economic restructuring and growth model transformation.

Mr. Nguyen Thien Nhan, Politburo member, Chairman of the Central Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front, Deputy Prime Minister read the Report of the Government Party Committee on fundamental and comprehensive innovation of education and training, meeting the requirements of industrialization and modernization in the conditions of a socialist-oriented market economy and international integration.

In the afternoon of the same day, the Conference delegates worked in groups, discussing the Project on fundamental and comprehensive innovation of education and training to meet the requirements of industrialization and modernization in the conditions of a socialist-oriented market economy and international integration./.
