September 19, 1442:The day of death of national hero and world cultural celebrity Nguyen Trai. Nguyen Trai was born in 1380, with the pen name Uc Trai, from Nhi Khe, Thuong Tin, Ha Tay (now Hanoi). In 1980, the United Nations Educational, Scientific and Cultural Organization (UNESCO) recognized him as a cultural celebrity and is commemorated worldwide.
