October 31, 1951:The Ly Thuong Kiet Campaign ended. The Ly Thuong Kiet Campaign was an offensive campaign by the Vietnamese People's Armed Forces against the French army in the Nghia Lo area (Yen Bai province) to destroy a part of the enemy's forces, build bases, promote guerrilla warfare, and destroy the Thai puppet army.
