October 29, 1976:The death of poetess Nguyen Trung Nguyet. She had a talent for literature and poetry since she was young. Since 1926, Nguyen Trung Nguyet was a member of the Vietnam Revolutionary Youth Association. She was sent to Guangzhou (China) to attend political classes organized by the Central Committee, and then wrote for the Thanh Nien newspaper. In 1929, she returned to the country to work, was arrested by the enemy, and sentenced to 8 years in prison at the Big Prison - Saigon. In 1937, she was released. She was the author of more than 3,000 poems and a collection of memoirs.
