October 28, 1459:Le Nghi Dan carried out a mutiny and murdered Le Nhan Tong.

October 28, 1929:Traditional day of Vietnam rubber industry. The night of October 28, 1929, at Village 3 of Phu Rieng Rubber Plantation marked a historical milestone of Vietnam rubber industry, that is the event of the establishment of the Indochina Communist Party cell, the first Communist cell in the Southeast region.

October 28, 1946:The 2nd session of the 1st National Assembly opened at the Hanoi Opera House. The National Assembly passed an urgent policy to prepare for a nationwide resistance war. October 28, 1965:The Liberation Army and Southern guerrillas fiercely attacked two major American airports in Da Nang and Chu Lai. Accordingly, 40 American planes were destroyed in Da Nang and 7 American jets were destroyed at Chu Lai airport.
