Vietnam Poetry Day 2015 in Vinh City
(Baonghean.vn) - On the morning of March 1, at Hong Son Temple (Vinh City), Vinh City People's Committee organized Vietnam Poetry Day 2015.
Attending the event were representatives of Vinh city leaders, Nghe An province Literature and Arts Association and many artists, poets and poetry lovers of the province.

After the opening drumbeat, the activities of Vietnam Poetry Day 2015 in Vinh City took place enthusiastically. With the theme “Towards the distant sea”, the poems presented on the poetry day all aimed to praise the love of homeland and country, affirming the sacred sovereignty of the sea and islands of the nation; thereby, expressing the love of poetry, the tradition of studiousness and humanity of the people of Nghe An.

Vietnam Poetry Day 2015 in Vinh City had many new features in the organization, that is the Kieu quiz, Kieu poem contest hosted by Hong Lam Poetry Association. The contest was widely distributed to many artists, poets and poetry lovers in the spirit of promoting traditional and genuine literary and artistic values and guiding everyone to preserve the purity of the Vietnamese language.

Next, generations of poets took turns presenting their poems. There were 26 poems presented, reflecting the breath of modern life, praising the homeland's landscape, and multiplying the values of truth, goodness, and beauty in each person's soul.
