Historical site of President Ho Chi Minh Memorial Siteis one of the four important relics in Vietnam about President Ho Chi Minh, preserving artifacts, documents, cultural and historical spaces about the childhood of Ho Chi Minh and his family members. On May 10, 2012, the Prime Minister ranked the historical relic of President Ho Chi Minh Memorial Site in Kim Lien commune (Nam Dan district, Nghe An province) as a special national relic (Decision No. 548/QD-TTg). Phan Boi Chau's memorial site consists of two clusters: the relic cluster of his paternal hometown in Dan Nhiem village (now hamlet 2, Xuan Hoa commune) and the relic cluster of his maternal hometown in Sa Nam village (now in Nam Dan town). The relic cluster of his maternal hometown includes: the memorial area (2 thatched houses, the garden of Mr. Phan's family) and the memorial area (house displaying additional relics, memorial house). The two thatched houses were built by Mr. Phan Van Pho - the father of Mr. Phan Boi Chau in 1860. The house displaying additional relics was built in 1997 with funding from Japan. Hoanh Son Communal Housein hamlet 4, Khanh Son commune, Nam Dan district, built and completed in the year of Nham Ngo, the 23rd year of Canh Hung (1763). The communal house worships Uy Minh Vuong Ly Nhat Quang, the 8th son of King Ly Thai To, who made many great contributions to the construction and protection of Nghe An and Dai Viet nation. In addition, the communal house also worships Buddha Shakyamuni and "Four Holy Ladies". Hoanh Son communal house has 8 trusses, 7 compartments with a total of 32 round ironwood pillars. Of which, there are 12 main pillars 5.75m high, 0.45m in diameter and 20 secondary pillars nearly 4m high, 0.42m in diameter. Hoanh Son Communal House was ranked as a National Historical and Cultural Relic in 1980. On December 25, 2017, the Prime Minister issued Decision No. 2082/QD-TTg on the ranking of a Special National Monument. The recognition as a Special National Monument once again affirms the historical and cultural value of the communal house, known as the largest historical architectural work in the Central region.
