Nghe An: 3 workers died from gas suffocation in Russia

(Baonghean.vn) - On the morning of December 30, Mr. Vu Duc Cong, Chairman of the People's Committee of Nghia An Commune, Nghia Dan District (Nghe An) said that 3 illegal workers had just died in Russia due to gas suffocation.

The victims' identities include: Sam Van Binh (39 years old), Dang Cong Xuan (43 years old), Pham Van Tien (19 years old), all residing in hamlet 10A, Nghia An commune.

It is known that all 3 victims were illegal workers in this country and traveled as tourists.

According to Ms. Dang Thi Diep (36 years old, Mr. Binh's wife), at noon on December 27, she received information from people working in Russia calling to inform that Mr. Binh and 2 people in the neighborhood had died. "They said that due to the extremely cold weather, on the evening of December 26, all 3 turned on the gas stove to sleep, but unexpectedly the gas tank leaked, leading to suffocation and death."

It is known that the families of the deceased were in very difficult circumstances. Mr. Binh had a wife and two young children, Mr. Xuan also had a wife and children, and Pham Van Tien was not married. These three people went to work in Russia 7 months ago when the accident happened.
