Nghe An: 6 months, business registration certificates granted to more than 1,000 enterprises
(Baonghean.vn) - Since the beginning of the year, the number of enterprises in Nghe An has increased sharply in both quantity and registered capital. However, most of them are small and medium enterprises, having difficulty accessing bank loans.
As of July 16, 2018, the Department of Planning and Investment issued new business registration certificates to 1,071 enterprises, an increase of 10.29%; with a total registered capital of VND 6,792.46 billion, an increase of 26.9% over the same period.
In addition, 558 branches, representative offices, and business locations were established, 311 more units than the same period.
There are 271 businesses registered to resume operations ahead of schedule.

The rate of online business registration dossiers reached 76.3% (July alone was 93.04%). Currently, the Department of Planning and Investment continues to implement a number of reforms in receiving and processing business dossiers in the field of business registration (automatic processing assignment; processing, signing and returning results immediately for some procedures...) to create maximum favorable conditions for businesses.
According to assessment, small and medium enterprises account for over 90% of operating enterprises, but the number of these enterprises that can access capital from commercial banks is only approximately 30%. This is a significant barrier for enterprises today in developing production and business.
The reason is that small and medium enterprises have limited financial capacity. According to the General Statistics Office, the proportion of small and medium enterprises with capital of over 6 billion VND still accounts for the majority. Enterprises have not yet established long-term business strategy goals.
