Nghe An: 95.8% of candidates passed the national high school graduation exam
(Baonghean.vn) - According to information just announced by the Department of Education and Training, in the 2015 national high school exam, Nghe An had 95.8% of candidates recognized as graduates; 1,401 candidates failed to graduate, mainly in local exam clusters.
This result is 4% lower than last year's exam and according to initial calculations, nearly half of the candidates who failed the graduation exam were due to failing grades. Among the failed candidates, the majority were from local exam clusters.
Previously, in this year's exam, Nghe An also had 11 candidates who were given special treatment due to illness and accidents before the exam date, 10 students who were exempted from the graduation exam subjects due to disabilities or severe disabilities. In addition, 14 other students who were members of the national team participating in the selection exam for the International Olympic exams were also exempted from all subjects in the 2015 national high school exam.

The graduation rate is not beyond the industry’s expectations because this year, candidates taking the exam to get graduation results and candidates taking the exam to apply to universities and colleges use the same exam. Therefore, the exam is more difficult and has a higher classification than in previous years. In addition, most candidates in local exam clusters only have average academic performance, the number of candidates with good and excellent academic performance accounts for a low percentage.
According to the plan, after announcing the exam scores, the Ministry of Education and Training will continue to announce the criteria for ensuring input quality on the Internet and mass media for candidates to know before August 1.
All candidates with high school exam scores below the threshold to ensure input quality as prescribed by the Ministry will not be allowed to register for admission to universities and colleges based on the scores of this exam./.
