Overview of the Workshop. |
In Nghe An, there are currently 7 tourism training facilities, including 2 universities, 3 colleges, and 2 vocational schools. Every year, over 2,000 students graduate from these training facilities.
However, the connection between training institutions and businesses is still loose, the commitment between schools and businesses is only focused on quantity, not on quality. Each school trains tourism human resources according to its own curriculum, which significantly affects the output quality...
From that reality, at the workshop, delegates frankly pointed out the fundamental causes leading to the limitation of human resource quality and many solutions to strengthen close cooperation between training institutions and tourism businesses.

VTOS standards are equivalent to international standards and this is especially important in the context that Nghe An province in particular and the whole country in general are preparing to implement the ASEAN Common Occupational Recognition Agreement, helping trained and recognized people to move easily within the region.
